If your Planning a Trip to Disney World in the near future , You might want to pick up a few Travel tips here.

Tricks For Disney Travel
by: Charles Cater

Have you been planning for years to take that trip to Disney World. Are your kids are now at that special age where they still believe in the magic that is Disney. Have you saved up the cash and are ready for the trip of a lifetime.

Then you need to learn a few tricks before heading off to Disney World and wasting much of your hard earned money.

The first trick for the savvy Disney vacationer is to check on e-bay three weeks before the trip looking for park tickets. Never buy single day single park tickets. The park-hopper ticket is the way to go. This ticket will allow you change parks during the days of your vacation. You can leave one park and go to another to avoid the crowds.

Get to the parks early in the day. Most families like to sleep in and enjoy a late breakfast. So even with the parks opening early in the day they are relatively empty first thing in the morning. Ride the park rides at the back of the park first. It may take a while to walk into the park but most other patrons stop at the first rides and ride those. As the park starts to fill they move to the back rides. Utilize this time to enjoy some of the popular rides at the back of the park and save your fastpass tickets.

At the start of the day do not grab fast pass tickets, wait until the park starts to see more traffic. You need to be aware that there is a time limit on the frequency that you can grab a fast pass ticket. So you cannot obtain another fast pass ticket until the designated time, this time will be on your fast pass ticket. Use these sparingly to pick the choice rides. While you are waiting on your fast pass ticket time enjoy other areas of the parks. When you have to opportunity to pick up your next fast pass then do so immediately. Only at this point can you use the original ticket.

Make sure that you carry a backpack with you into the park. This pack will serve you well during the day. You should pack in water, and drinks in amounts that are comfortable to carry. This will save you dearly during the day. The cost of drinks and supplies inside the park walls is extravagant.

If you have two adults with you then you will need to team up to allow the kids to get signatures from the characters. Once you are ¾ of the way to a character one of the adults needs to go to the next line to wait for the character while the kids get the first signature. This will dramatically increase your time through the lines for characters.

Make sure you carry a marker to place on your car for the afternoon return trip. The best marker that I have found is those that your local sports teams have for the cars. Virtually everyone has seen the car flag. Purchase two of these prior to the trip to display on your car. This will make it simple to find your car in the afternoon after a hard day in the parks.

Finally, relax and enjoy your vacation. Disney is an exciting trip for you and the kids. If things don't go exactly as planned just let it go and enjoy.

Planning to take a vacation? Do you know what you really like to do? it could make your vacation even more meaningful. Many travelers go on a trip that friends and relatives recommend, but is it what they really want? You should start planning early and know what you really want to accomplish.

Ask yourself the following questions before starting to plan your vacation; do I want to relax? Do I want adventure or a learning experience? Do I want to get away from my job? When you know the answers to these questions, then you are ready to plan your trip.

Vacations are essential for our emotional, physical and mental balance. You give yourself a chance to relax, renew your energy, free from the daily routine. Vacations could be far away or close to home. Wherever the vacation may be, it does the same thing. It is the satisfaction that is more important than the destination.

There are many different types of travel according to activities involved. Some are listed below:

1. Responsible Travel. Traveling doesn't always have to be self-serving. With responsible travel, one could have enjoyment as much as respecting the local environment and the people.

2. Rediscovering nature. Rediscovering travel is all about nature and everything in it. It revitalizes the soul while smelling and feeling nature.

3. Responsible Diving. Diving not only let vacationers appreciate what is down in the sea but also making them more aware of the conservation effort.

The country of travel also leaves an indelible mark on the traveler's diary. Here are some of the most popular destinations today:

1. Thailand. Thailand is also known as Siam. It is an Asian country bounded by Burma, Laos, Cambodia, and Malaysia. Behind the back draft of Thailand's jungles of bamboo, rubber trees and vines are the Five-star hotels of modern conveniences. In some parts of the country, elephants are still being use to lift timbers and buffalos are still being use in farming.

2. China. China is now the second largest country and fastest growing economy in the world. Most parts of China are still unexplored by tourist; however, the eastern portion is now popular to western tourist. First class hotels now offer highest class of amenities and dozens are still being built/

3. Italy. Italy is a boot-like shape country bounded by Switzerland, Austria, France, and Slovenia. The main attraction of Italy is St. Peter's Square where the Pope resides.

4. Caribbean. Caribbean is an archipelago of islands, 2000 square miles across. Most of the islands are plateaus and eruptions of underlying mountain systems. There are nice beaches of crushed coral and white or pink sand and the water at the shore is a deep blue.

Your vacation success will not depend on how much you spent or on the destination. But how well you enjoyed it and how you were able to achieve the primary goal of "getting away from it all."

Before setting out for your vacation in the Caribbean region, you need to arrange all things and ensure that everything is in place.

One of the prominent aspects of a tour is a vacation rental. There are a number of travel agents that offer complete packaged services, covering all details such as flight, dining provisions, accommodation and more. Villa-suites The villas or cottages are tastefully decorated by the owners, using rich wood such as teak, mahogany, and bamboo. There are large patios as well as medium ones with one bedroom and one bath.

Irrespective of the size, the villas provide basic amenities like telephones, kayaks, satellite TV, air conditioning, bath accessories like towels, linen, washing facilities, modern kitchens, and more. A few villas have facilities like a library, stargazing at nights, and Internet access.

In some countries like Tobago, the villas are beautifully decorated and offer barefoot comfort. To make them more beautiful, professional decorating experts are employed that design the villas with a homely and personal touch. Amenities You can get a picturesque view of the ocean from your room. Such is the setting of villas in the Caribbean region.

The rent for such villas is highest during festive seasons like Christmas and the New Year. There are also timeshares available for rent, lease, and sale. Such timeshares are worth the money put in buying them because they are very luxurious. These buildings are quite big and are filled with modern amenities like Jacuzzis, pools, restaurants, and casinos.

The vacation rentals gain popularity due to factors like their location, price and facilities. They make the best use of their location and tackle competition by offering unique facilities at a nominal cost. They should cater to the needs of people with varied interests. Starting from kids to golfers, every visitor should be satisfied.

You need to select the best option among the vacation rentals in your destination. Try to cull as much information as possible about various rentals, and compare them not merely by price but also by the features.

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
About the Author Romantic Caribbean Vacations provides detailed information on Caribbean Vacations, Romantic Caribbean Vacations, All Inclusive Caribbean Vacations, Caribbean Vacation Rentals and more. With elaborate entertainment for and much heartfelt support from the national and international community, the Southeast is booming and its Gulf States are quick to note that their cities are welcoming visitors from all over the world.

Travel South, a consortium of the twelve southeastern state tourism offices including West Virginia, holds a showcase every year that features the best of what the region has to offer. Almost 750 delegates attended the show this year. The first evening brought together 400 years history of Virginia music as the Virginia Tourism Corporation presented music groups from several different generations, including Native, bluegrass and shag music, with a surprise performance by Va.

Governor Mark Warner. He sang and played harmonica, while each of the bands that played during the evening came up on stage for an explosive finale that set the bar high for the number of functions to follow that weekend. Other highlights included the Official Louis Armstrong Society Jazz Band at Louisiana’s breakfast function, with its fiery singer and talented band members all worthy of the name of their band; dinner and entertainment at the Virginia Science Museum and the many tours on Saturday showcasing the city of Richmond and its surrounding areas

ALABAMA

The Alabama Bureau of Tourism and Travel is promoting 2006 as “The Year of Outdoor Alabama.” The 2006 calendar of events has a special section devoted to the more than 140 outdoor events and festivals taking place in Alabama throughout the year. A separate brochure titled “100 Outdoor Adventures in Alabama” lists great outdoor activities all over the state.

Both are available at Alabama welcome centers or by contacting the Bureau. Mobile is getting back on its feet after Hurricane Katrina damaged many attractions and facilities throughout town. The Mobile Bay CVB encourages visitors to come and see how Katrina has impacted the town, as well as to witness the strength and perseverance of this community.

The USS Alabama, which was closed for several months due to immense storm damage, reopened in January on the 41st anniversary of its original opening to the public. The Museum of Mobile will be opening this spring after extensive work to repair flood damage. The majority of the city is back up and running but support from the tourism community is still greatly needed and warmly appreciated.

FLORIDA

Construction is currently underway on the Florida Keys Eco-Discovery Center, due to open later this year. The 6,000-square-foot facility will feature interactive exhibits depicting the region’s underwater and upland habitats, with special emphasis on the ecosystem of North America’s only living contiguous barrier coral reef.

The center will be located on Truman Annex overlooking the Key West waterfront. The TECO Manatee Viewing Center in Apollo Beach will open its season in November with a new expanded boardwalk featuring more observation areas. The center has also installed a new live webcam and has opened the South Shore Café refreshment area. The center celebrates its twentieth anniversary this year.

GEORGIA

The brand new home of the World of Coca Cola will open summer 2007 on a twenty-acre site adjacent to Centennial Olympic Park in Atlanta. The facility houses the world’s largest collection of Coca Cola collectibles and memorabilia and – of course – offers samples of Coca Cola products from around the globe. The famous beverage, which was first served ‘soda-fountain style’ at a small pharmacy near Underground Atlanta, is served over a billion times per day in over 200 countries around the world.

LOUISIANA

A full seven months after HurricaneKatrina, New Orleans is coming into their festival season with gusto and a great big helping of pride. After the wrap-up of the city’s 150th Mardi Gras this March, Steven Perry, President and CEO of the New Orleans Metro CVB had this to say: “Our industry guests were overwhelmed by the spirit of the city and its people. It was startlingly clear that although New Orleans still faces real challenges in some areas, the historic core of the city, the tourism areas, and the experience of coming to New Orleans is not only intact but thriving. We planted the flag in the ground that announced to the world that New Orleans is open and ready to welcome visitors again in our own special style!”

Riding alone on his bicycle, with no more than his wits and a few belongings, he set off on an expedition to find adventure, romance, and an ancient mystery that encompassed all of humanity.

Almost a year and 10 countries later, he came back to Cherry Hill with a rare and powerful message concerning the planet's physical changes, about the effects of globalization, the beauty of the people and cultures of the Americas, and of the tribulations and magic of a quest.

He recently spoke to the Haddon Heights local Hispanic cultural group about exploring the Guatemalan jungles and finding a lost Mayan City. David currently gives multimedia presentations about his journeys. For more information, you can contact him at: David E.X.N. As it was in 1939, and as it is today in 2002, kids love boating. Boating is a fun family sport, whether you're waterskiing, fishing, diving or hanging around at a raft-up.

Children of all ages are on the water, and in boats of all shapes, sizes and propulsion. Thus it is even more important to teach our children the do's and don'ts of boating safety. This is where Coastie, a real life commissioned Coast Guard Cutter comes into play!

Commissioned at the USCG Cutter Coastie (WAUX), Coastie is the first of what we hope is a long line of Low Endurance Coast Guard Cutters. These sleek vessels are equipped with the latest in child attention getting devices, such as lights, animated moving parts, flags and sounds.

So what exactly is Coastie and why does the USCG Auxiliary have her (actually them, there are currently eleven Coastie;s in the fleet)? Why is because we're dedicated to teaching youngster's boating safety. Educators have found that if learning is fun, then learning is achieved. Coastie is fun!

I'm sorry, that wasn't put quite correctly. Coastie IS FUN!!!!! Now, that's better! Children just love the way Coastie moves and talks to them. Sometimes Coastie needs to cool off the surrounding crowds, so she comes armed with a giant water Squirter! When Coastie brings a target into her sight, watch out, your wet!

Coastie's crew is a group of dedicated individuals who donate countless hours in the pursuit of educating our young. These men and women, volunteer members of the Auxiliary, also bring not only a wealth of boating and educational information, but coloring and work books, that teach and entertain.

So why not ask your local Coast Guard Flotilla to bring Coastie to your next group function. I'm sure Coastie would get a bang out of it!

You can reach your local Flotilla either through our web site at http://www.cgaux.org or by calling your local Coast Guard office.

Sidebar: Coastie specifics

44" Coastie Low Endurance Cutter (WAUX)
Number in service Coast Guard And Auxiliary-wide: 32
Length: 44 Inches
Beam: 30 Inches
Displacement: 125 lbs.
Power Plant: Two Twin Independent Electric Motors
Maximum Range: 3 Miles or 3.5 Hours
Maximum Speed: 3.5 knots
Armament: One 12 Volt Water Squirter Range 25 Feet (Adult or child Elevation Capable)
Primary Missions: Youth Boating & Water Safety Education, Public Affairs, Boat Shows, USCG & DOT Formal Events
Motto: "Saving Lives Through Education"
Operating Crew: 5 Personnel --1 Operator, 1 Instructor, 2 Crew Bears, and 1 Captain Snoopy

The 44-Inch Low Endurance Coastie Cutter class are the smallest cutters, ever built for the Coast Guard and Coast Guard Auxiliary.
They are powered by Electric Motors operated by remote control, and have independent directional controllable drive wheels. Equipped with a Water Squirter and Operational Bilge Pump these cutters were introduced to the Coast Guard and Auxiliary inventory in 1997-2000. Production beginning in the 1997 and still presently being produced by the Robotronics Shipyard in Springville Utah. The entire class was modernized through the efforts of Coasties Dad, at Coastie Operations, and the Fleet Renovation and Modernization (COFRAM) program. The first of the class was Coastie 01 (WAUX-01) Commissioned on September 2, 2000 which was long over due. Highly versatile and capable of performing a variety of missions, these cutters operate throughout the United States Coast Guard Districts.
Homeports and contact points for Coasties (WAUXs) can be found at Coastie's Corner.

Graphic: http://www.auxguidanceskills.info/press/coastie
